Guidelines

Articles

We welcome the submission of academic articles for peer review in Spanish or English on any aspect related to Cuba, provided that they adhere to the aims and scope of the journal.

Articles are normally between 3000 and 4500 words in length (5000 words maximum). We use the Harvard style of referencing, with no footnotes. Please submit any illustrative material in separate jpg files.

Detailed guidelines can be downloaded below and are intended to be helpful for contributors. Please contact us if they cause any problems.

Other sections


We aim to provide scope for wider involvement through the opportunity to contribute a range of shorter items (reports, reviews, viewpoints etc).

For these items, please follow the basic guidelines for submission of articles as regards style, format, biographical information and referencing. These are intended to be helpful and not to discourage contributions.
